Moyer Associates Inc. has been selected and contracted as a part of the professional team to plan, program and design the new Philadelphia Police Headquarters and Public Safety Services Campus for the City of Philadelphia. The oldest municipal police agency in the United States and the 4th largest non-federal law enforcement agency in the country, the Philadelphia Police Department seeks the incorporation of advanced practices concepts in police facility design and the attainment of a facility that will take them into the future. Programming has been completed and design work is underway.
Schematic design work is now being completed for a new downtown-located Police Headquarters for the Medford Police Department. Designed as a part of a civic core, including City Hall and other public services facilities, the new facility will bring contemporary facility support for the delivery of public safety services. Moyer Associates Inc. is teamed with local architects and engineers.
Moyer Associates Inc. has been working with local architects in the facility needs assessment, existing facility evaluation, and the development of masterplanning strategies to deliver needed space and operational features for the Yakima Police Department, the Municipal Courts and the City of Yakima Legal Department. The recommended option makes full use of existing space and allows continued occupancy and operations by all components during a phased implementation period.
